The area of the exhibition hall of Turkmenistan at the World Exhibition “Expo-2010” which begins working on May 1 in the city of Shanghai of the People Republic of China  is more than 1000 square meters .For our country which has participated at this universal forum for the first time, it is the new opportunity to display to  the world community its achievements and progress, and at the same time to become familiar with the world best practices in various spheres, to extend the geography of mutually beneficial cooperation with foreign partners.
It is important to notice that the opening of the World Exhibition “EXPO-2010” is symbolically coincide with the forthcoming  visit  of Gurbangul y Berdimuhamedow ,the President of Turkmenistan to the People Republic of China .This visit  will give inducement to  the  further development  of the traditionally  friendly Turkmen-Chinese relationship.  According to the Resolution of  Turkmen leader, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Union of  Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan ,being the organizers of the national exposition at the “EXPO -2010 ”,negotiated necessary contracts  with the Shanghai Coordinating Bureau of the World Exhibitions  .There is no doubt,that the forthcoming participation  of the National Leader Gurbanguly  Berdimuhamedow at the World Exhibition’s  opening ceremony will enhance the prestige of the native exposition, where will display their products, potential and cooperation possibilities about thirty branch ministries and departments of our country and representatives of private economy sector.
The main subject of the World Shanghai Exhibition  sounds like this “Better city means better life. ”Turkmenistan ,where in recent years have implemented  the large scale of unprecedented reforms, initiated by the President of Turkmenistan ,Gurbanguly  Berdimuhamedov, has a lot of achievements to display. The symbol of the changes, implementing in Turkmenistan  is white-marble Turkmen capital Ashgabat. Due to the implementation of  wide range of architectural programs Ashgabat becomes the one of the most attractive and comfortable city of the world. So, it is logical that the city of Ashgabat will be the main project of the national exposition. In exhibition it will be displayed as a large-scale  administrative and business , scientific, educational and cultural  centre of the state, its important transport and communication centre.
The colossal scale of renovation process the main purpose of which-to provide the high living standards, have spread to  the all regions of Turkmenistan even to its remote districts. So ,the main object of organizers of the  jointed exposition was to reflect  the central idea of the forum and to create at the “EXPO-2010” the attractive and impressive image of Turkmenistan in the epoch of New Revival.
The Turkmenistan exhibition hall which will be the” visiting card” of the country for  the further six month, has one of the advantageous  location on a  map of the International Shanghai Exhibition complex, located on the Huanpu river. Turkmen exhibition hall was built near to the exposition of the People Republic of China-the owner of the “EXPO-2010”. Each of the numerous exhibition halls of the participants  of the forum (there are 192 countries and the  number of international organizations) has the original architectural design.
Guests of the exhibition hall will not only become familiar with the exposition, but also  participate in  round work table and other activities. The important event will be the National Day of Turkmenistan. Representatives of all countries –participants of the International Shanghai exhibition will be invited on the occasion of this day.
It is expecting that about 70 million people will attend the “EXPO-2010”. It is more, in comparison to   previous forum  visitors number. For the first time in parallel with the World Shanghai  Exhibition will be operated  its virtual version on Internet. It will attract attention of a big amount of people.
Hereby, the universal forum in Shanghai gives the opportunity to the people all over the world to become familiar with Independent, Neutral Turkmenistan, its modern achievements and  priorities of state development, the rich cultural heritage of Turkmen people. Participation in the World Exhibition will make a contribution to the further successful integration of our country to the world economic system.
